About
Ontario Community Church, located in Ontario, Oregon, is a vibrant, multi-ethnic, and multi-generational community that has been serving the local community since the 1940s. Originally established as a Japanese-American church, it has grown to include a diverse congregation from various backgrounds, reflecting the multicultural fabric of the community it serves. The church is committed to creating an inclusive environment, offering facilities such as a spacious elevator for those with mobility issues and dedicated headsets for hearing assistance during services.
The church's services are a blend of traditional and contemporary worship styles, including hymns and modern music. Services start at 10 am and typically last for about an hour, with a focus on ensuring that new visitors feel comfortable and not singled out. The church also provides Sunday school for children from nursery age through elementary years, starting at the same time as the main service. A cry room is available for parents with infants, although children are always welcome to sit with their parents in the main sanctuary.
The church is now led by Pastor Patrick J. Dailey. He emphasizes and teaches biblical truth, upholding core beliefs about God, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, eternity, salvation, and the church. Pastor Dailey is married with his wife Amber. Together, they have five beautiful children; Aaron, Hunter, Garrett, Auriella and Amelia.
Ontario Community Church believes in transforming the community and the world by sharing the love and hope of Christ. It is a place where everyone is welcome, and it strives to honor its heritage and calling by focusing on what truly matters: love, community, and faith.
